7 of Brooklyn’s Best BYOB Restaurants

Of all the ways you can cut down on your eating out budget—going to nice restaurants during lunch instead of dinner, actually cooking for yourself—there aren’t a lot that are more satisfying than the BYOB restaurant. It always tends makes you feel a little bad for the owners, given that alcohol sales are one of the only surefire ways for a restaurant to actually turn a profit, but their loss (or in some cases, their strategic move) is our gain.
And even in a restaurant landscape where the cheapest beer at most places is $6, there are still a few places that’ll let you take care of the night’s drink menu yourself. Go eat, drink as much and as cheaply as you want, and revel in your own thriftiness.
