Cold Brew Your Own Iced Coffee
Do you have any idea how much money I’ve wasted on iced coffee in my life? Of course not. You don’t know me. You don’t know what kind of an addict I am. But let’s just say that it might have been cheaper for me to have an actual crack habit instead of a cold-caffeinated-substitute-for-crack habit. Anyway, all that has ended now (I mean, I still buy iced coffee, but not three to four times a day) and I’ve become a convert of the cold brew system. This technique is so simple to master and also allows you to forgo boiling water and turning on your stove in this terrible heat. I am a firm believer in not even boiling water in the summer unless absolutely necessary, and with cold brewing you don’t have to do that! And, if you want to get been more basic in your efforts and support a small Brooklyn business and still save money, stock up on Grady’s Cold Brew coffee concentrate. You can mix it with water (or, my favorite, almond milk) and have a less expensive and super-easy alternative to buying cup after cup of shitty iced coffee at your local deli. And you won’t break a sweat when doing any of this.
