The Perfect Prospect Park Walking Tour
You’ll come to the scenic Lullwater Bridge, which offers a beautiful view of the Boathouse:
The water gets green and gross and weird in the summer. Just deal with it.
At the end of this bridge, you can see the famous Camperdown Elm, the subject of a Marianne Moore poem that raised awareness and saved it from death-by-neglect. There’s a tunnel to your right, but don’t go through it. Instead, turn right down the trail. Now for the south end of the Lullwater Trail, which abuts Breeze Hill.
Sure, you’re just looking at the other side of where you just were, but there’s this really nice shaded seating area made of bare logs, which is worth checking out, plus walking along the water is always nice:
You can barely tell the water’s green!
