Tonight: Vintage Clothes and Cocktails at Williamsburg’s Antoinette

Should any of you need a specific excuse to get in a little vintage shopping and drinking tonight, we’ve got a pretty good one: Williamsburg institution Antoinette is celebrating two years at its outpost on Grand and Berry from 7-10pm with cocktails and an in-store performance courtesy of Bugs in the Dark singer and songwriter Karen Rockower Glass.
“I am proud to be celebrating two years in this neighborhood,” says owner Lexi Oliveri, who named the store after her mother. “I want to keep our clients and customers excited about discovering vintage, as they should be, while supporting these incredibly talented local designers. Also, I know how to throw a party.”
In addition to their usual range of vintage (think everything from the ’40s to the ’90s, which, yes, are officially considered an era of vintage now), tonight’s event marks the debut of accessory lines from local designers Nina Z. and The Brooklyn Suspender Co. We could keep on listing reasons to swing by, but do we really need to? This is a perfect way to spend your Thursday.
