Brooklyn’s Racist Fucking Real Estate
In 1973, Donald Trump’s family’s real-estate company was sued by the Department of Justice for discriminating against black people looking to rent in Brooklyn, as well as Queens and Staten Island, the Huffington Post reported. In 1975, the company settled the case and promised not to discriminate against minority tenants. In 1978, the Justice Department sued the Trumps AGAIN for discriminating against black people. “At Trump’s Comedy Central roast, Snoop Dogg joked about Trump’s potential 2012 run for the White House,” the Huffington Post reported. “‘Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time he pushed a black family out of their home.'” [photo]
