The Best—and Worst—Things About Brooklyn During the Holidays

One of my favorite things about Brooklyn in the holiday season is when the Christmas tree vendors set up mini-forests on street corners in various neighborhoods. It’s usually ridiculously cold, but they always seem to be in good spirits, despite the fact that they are camping out 24 hours/day to make sure nobody walks off with the trees. (It probably helps that they tend to be from the Far North, where it’s even colder…)
