Horrifying, right? Prior to this, New York was in centuries-long turmoil that we like to call, immaturely, the city’s “Poo Period.” Don’t think too hard about it, the point is, we’ve come a long way, baby! Still, maybe don’t open your mouth if you’re swimming at Coney Island.
