The 100 Greatest Brooklynites of All Time: 20 to 11
18. Isaac Asimov
Born in Russia, Asimov moved to Brooklyn when he was three; he attended public schools, including Boys’ High School (which later merged with Girls High School), and went to a Brooklyn outpost of Columbia University. He would of course go on to become the first name in science fiction, known for his short stories and novels like I, Robot.
