The 78th Precinct station house on Sixth Avenue, whose officers patrol Park Slope and Prospect Park, has bedbugs, the Post reports; a prisoner complained over the weekend that “the insects were nipping at him,” the paper writes.
Motorists suspected of intoxication in Brooklyn are brought to the station for blood-alcohol level testing; DWI arrests are now being processed in Staten Island. Other prisoners are being held in the 72nd Precinct house in Sunset Park, on Fourth Avenue.
The station house should be fumigated soon.
