The Sad and Not Exactly Beautiful Saga of Grimaldi’s
Grimaldi’s, interior, after hours: November is come, and with it shorter lines, and darker times. After Waxman refuses Ciolli’s check for $44K, he sues her for trying to take his coal-fired oven, and then announces Grimaldi’s final pie will come out on November 28, but that he’ll reopen the next day, NEXT DOOR… but with what kind of oven?!
Frank Ciolli
Gentlemen, friends, gather ye round, I’ve got something good in store.
We’ll shut it down on the 28th, and move it all next door…
Waitstaff chorus
But how can we move this wonderful oven,
that makes the pies so tasty?
Forgive us, sir, our impertinence, but it all seems rather hasty.
